Associate Cybersecurity Analyst
As an Associate Cybersecurity Analyst, your role will be to monitor and analyze security alerts and escalate to the tier2/client escalation in a timely fashion.
SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Monitor and analyze security events from multiple heterogenous network devices
- Identification and escalation of security threats, events, incidents to information assets
- Investigate, document and report on information security issues and emerging trends
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English is a MUST
- Excellent customer servicing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment
- Interpersonal skills in listening, problem solving, assertiveness, decision making & negotiation
- Willingness to work during US/UK business hours
QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
- 6 months experience in a similar role
- Intermediate knowledge on Windows & Linux Operating Systems
- Basic knowledge on Antivirus, EDRs, Firewalls, Proxies, Vulnerability scanning, IDS/IPS systems
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing
- Professional certifications in Microsoft/Cisco
- Freshers with a flair for Information Security are encouraged to apply
